Summon Night Wiki

Killfith (キルフィス, Kirufisu) is one of the four possible Summon Beasts in Summon Night: Craft Sword Monogatari Hajimari no Ishi. He is a short, silent and sadistic demon hailing from the world of Sapureth. Due to the incomplete summoning, he takes the form of a child.

He has the highest magic power and is the only one who can fly, although he is physically the weakest. His primary magic is water and his special spell is revival. If he is your guardian beast, he will increase the chances of making a good spear.

From the outside, Killfith takes the appearance of a serious boy who has a cold personality and does not talk much. However, he also has a shy side, such as when he tries to hide his concern for Murno.

Day 10

On day 10, after the protagonist defeats Killfith, he tells the protagonist the reason why he is protecting Murno in the first place is because of a dog. When Murno and Killfith was in Mishūsu Village, there was a dog that Murno was very afraid of so Killfith often accompanies her. One day, the dog started barking at Murno and she ran away out of fear.

The dog later started barking at Killfith and he was going to "erase" it for being noisy. However, something went wrong and Murno came running back and tried to protect Killfith by standing between them, similar to how the protagonist tried to protect him when the blue Phantom Dragon was about to attack them. Since then, he felt like he owes a debt of gratitude to her and vows to protect her from then on.

Later, he tells the protagonist that he will stop protecting Murno and says the responsibility now fully lies on him/her. Because from now on, he will focus on protecting the protagonist instead.

Trivia[]

  • Although Killfith is the protagonist's Craftknight partner, he is technically, in fact, Murno's Summon Beast.
  • He is the only one of the four possible Summon Beasts who can fly in-battle (to do so, the player must make him jump and then pressing any key on the directional pad).
  • When conversing with Eliez, Killfith claims he dislikes children.
  • One of Killfith's design inconsistencies in the official art/in-game sprites is that his hair sometimes covers his left eye instead of his right eye.
